I deliberately put this design ‘ Image into a defining shape before I designed the lettering (something I would recommend writers starting out to do). You define the space of the graffiti first then fill the lettering in. In this instance it was an exploration again of wildstyle design but keeping the lettering very straight forward so that you might be able to guess what it says.
I’ve enhanced the perspective of this design by warping the whole finished design along its horizontal center line – kind of like folding paper back on itself. It makes the central element more pronounced. Again the white and red design that I seem to use a lot in my work.
