Sonic' – No, not the hedgehog.

So I wanted to get back into what inspired me to start down this path in the first place - creating graffiti that is based on technology.  Motorcycle design has always interested me since the first time I saw a black Kawasaki ninja bike - pure angled and chiseled design beauty. This work is just a study based around a generic motorcycle design. One of the next graffiti works that I want to do is taking this concept and applying it to an Formula 1 car as they have the same sharp angles and curves which I think would make a perfect design.

You get a lot of interesting textures from motorcycle paintwork as well, there are so many shiny and reflective surfaces that the light bounces off everything which is good for graffiti designs as it seems to make them stand out more. I'd like to come back to this work sometime in the future and maybe tweak a few things and maybe do a composite in a garage or environment with proper lighting.

Again with this work I am not really interested in lettering or getting the words to stand out as this is something that is fairly easy to do - instead I've focused on the getting the end result of the work right and getting the shapes to look exactly how I saw this work in my head.
