.\\ I just did an experimental film using super8 film - Displaced Threshold - Working with old school technology is a lot warmer than today's cold efficient digital technology, it actually requires knowledge of processes rather than clicking buttons. I love the industrial design of these old devices they have a sort of minimalist functional design.

This style isn't limited to any part of the world either, it seems big and chunky was probably due to early technology being bulky and not as streamlined as today's tech.

Even now people still use super8 as a medium, can u smell the burnt dust in the lamp? You not gonna get that from a HD cam.
