Graffiti - Complex

This idea came from the Ghost In The Shell "Stand Alone Complex" and the style that is used in that series - in particular the heads up display style overlay. I really like the idea of refining my work to a simpler form as most artists are striving to get to the essence of the work without the need for tricks and over-designing the work. When I was young I would add all kinds of flourishes and extras to works that i had in my blackbook but now I want to get it right back to the basics of what the style is about - so clear lines, visible lettering and little or no color to the art.

One of my biggest influences is modern industrial design. There is such a push for simplicity and elegance in form in this industry that its hard not to be influenced by it.
