Dither - Writing in light graffiti design.

The idea behind this was to do a design that used the technique of light writing. Seems to have taken off in last few years and it seems about time that I use the style in my work. This is another work that I actually went out and took photos for as it was a few days before River Fire in Brisbane I thought it would be a good time to do some HDR images for this work.

The lighting on this one was pretty tricky as there really is only the lights from the bridge to illuminate the scene I had to add a few more off to the sides and back so that you could actually read that lettering. I also added a few neon strips to the letters themselves just to pull them off the dark night sky.

These light trails actually remind me of fiber optic cables - as if it is absorbing data.

 

A few HDR images that I used for reference on the work. I think I used about 5 shots at different exposures.
