Graffiti Sculpture 01

This is the start of my new set of works focusing on Graffiti as a sculptural form. I have been messing around with a lot of materials since I first started Technica to try to find something that would be suitable to make graffiti sculptures.

I am already starting to see the cross over's from building virtual models to actually making a physical object and how useful the 'Sketches' series was. A lot of it comes down to understanding weight and angles but there are some practical aspects of how to reuse a elements and shapes from a 3d mesh in different ways to create an effect.

This series (like 'Sketches series) is all about trying to explore different ideas/techniques and styles in a graffiti sculpture rather than focusing on lettering
